There has been an explosion of interest in bryophytes and lichens in Western Canada in the last year and I've had requests to extend the range of the interest group to the whole of Western Canada. Consequently the Alberta Bryophye and Lichen Interest Group has become the Western Canada Bryophyte and Lichen Interest Group.
